Kim Malone

For more than 20 years, Kim served as a Probation and Parole Agent, working with individuals whose lives were forever changed by the decisions they made. Every day, Kim witnessed the consequences of poor choices—but she also witnessed the incredible power of growth, accountability, and second chances.

Those experiences inspired her to create Reality Check By Kim.

Kim’s mission is simple: help young people make informed decisions before they become life-changing consequences. Through engaging, real-world programs, she helps students develop critical thinking skills, build healthy relationships, strengthen accountability, and gain the confidence to make positive choices that shape their future.

As someone with a background in social work and specialized training in Restorative Practices, Thinking for a Change, and Motivational Interviewing, Kim brings real-life experience into every presentation, workshop, and coaching session. Her approach is honest, interactive, and built on connection—not lectures.

Whether she’s presenting the Decision Lab digital curriculum, facilitating Rocky's Voice, leading Restorative Mindset & Behavioral Intervention, or supporting families through VENT, her goal is always the same: to empower people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create brighter futures.

Kim believes every decision matters, every young person has potential, and every conversation has the power to change a life.

Rooted In Real Experience

Before Reality Check By Kim existed, Kim spent over 20 years walking beside people already in trouble, listening to stories, witnessing consequences, and quietly dreaming about prevention.

Guided By Compassion

Every program grew from real living rooms, classrooms, and courtroom hallways, where Kim learned that honest connection changes behavior more than lectures, fear, or punishment ever could.

Focused On Real Change Together

Today we stand beside schools, courts, and families, turning hard-earned lessons into digital curriculum, restorative interventions, and conversations that help young people rewrite their stories before consequences rewrite them.
